The artificial island Pampus, just east of Amsterdam, is part of a defence line around the greater Amsterdam area. It is part of the Unesco World Heritage programme. It’s visitors centre was completely redesigned by Studio Harm Hasenaar, who took great care to leave characteristic elements of the old concrete fort intact. Ivo and Stephan created the audio design of the entire exhibition, including music and surround sound for a 360-degrees video projection in one of the old canon turrets. This slideshow gives you an impression of this striking location, set to a piece of film music used in the fort.
